Dr. Matthew Farlow
The life journey for Matt has been an amazingly insane joy ride with Jesus at the helm.
Dr Farlow is a proud graduate of UC Davis (double major English & History) where he wrestled (Pac 12 and NCAA qualifier) and met his wife, a proud UCD grad and cheerleader. Matt grabbed a Master’s of Theology at Multnomah University in Oregon where he also trained for the Olympics. After Multnomah, Matt and his family (Kristin and their two kids, Kayla & Jacob ) ventured off to Scotland where Matt completed a Ph.D. in Theology and Literature at The University of St Andrews.
The Farlow4 live in Mahomet, Illinois, where Matt is Associate Pastor. You can also follow Matt on God's Drama: Finding Your Role on the World's Stage and The Journey.
My name is Wes Edwards and I love being a wrestler. Even more, I love being a husband and a dad. I just celebrated 16 years with my wife Tonya and I have a 5-year-old little boy named Rivaldo. If you ask him where he's from he would tell you "Haiti"... and, yes, I'm already teaching him how to shoot a devastating double leg Burroughs style! I have two jobs. I'm currently the Worship Arts Director at Covenant Church in Greenville, NC, and I am an assistant wrestling coach at Rose High School (Greenville) helping to teach the sport of wrestling to a great group of guys. God bless you as you go through this devotional and I pray that you experience a greater awareness of how much God loves you as you read.
